A comfortable office chair is important to ensure you get the highest quality of work done. No one wants to sit in a chair that causes discomfort as it can have an effect on how we approach our work. Sitting down for long periods of time with bad posture can cause aches and pains in your back, shoulders, arms and legs. There are places like that has a wide variety of styles to choose from. Here are 3 tips to help you pick out the perfect office chair.

Gone are the days when an office chair was boring and simplistic and just a place to sit down to get something done. Office chairs now come in a variety of styles, materials and let us show off our personalities. We can take inspiration from celebrity styles we see every day on social media, after all, style is not limited to clothing. An office should be a place of creativity and hard work, so choose a chair that will reflect this. A bold, colourful chair will cheer the place up and get your creative juices flowing.

Everyone will have a different preference for comfort but make sure that your chair is comfortable enough for you to sit on for long hours. Think about cushioning, the material and whether the chair is adjustable. Does the chair have a backrest and an arm rest? Added support as such will help with alleviating stress of the lower back and support your elbows to prevent your neck from straining.

You will need to take into account if there is enough room in your office for you to move around on your chair. While it’s ideal that your chair comes with wheels to allow you to keep on the move and give your body the support it needs, if your office doesn’t have enough room, then it may be best to pick a chair that meets your requirements.
Hopefully these 3 tips will help you pick the perfect office chair for you. If you’d like to join in the conversation, share your thoughts using the hashtag #MyChairStyle
